Prevention of Crime & Disorder
Comprehensive CCTV system covering all entrances, exits and customer areas, has a panic alarm already installed, and will maintain adequate staffing levels throughout late-night trading periods to ensure the safety and security of customers and staff.
Public Safety
Fire safety equipment will be maintained and kept readily accessible, regular risk assessments will be undertaken, all emergency exits will be clearly marked and kept free from obstruction, and staff will receive training in first aid awareness and emergency procedures.
Prevention of Public Nuisance
Displaying sign to leave quietly and respect neighbours, manage deliveries and waste collections to minimize disturbances, ensuring customers do not congregate outside the premises late at night.
Protection of Children
Clear signage will be displayed advising that children under the age of 12 must be accompanied by a responsible adult while on the premises (After 23:00 p.m).
General
Comprehensive recorded CCTV system , all staff undertake KFC's internal late-night licensing and operational training programmes, and regular litter-picking measures will be implemented to minimize any impact on the local environment.
Conditions agreed with the Licensee
Conditions agreed with the Licensee 1. The Applicant shall ensure that CCTV is installed, covering all areas here licensable activity takes place, to the current British Standard and maintained to the satisfaction of the Police and a. All equipment shall have constant time/date generation. b. This shall include a system to ensure automatic update in relation to the beginning and end of British Summer Time etc. c. If the system is not capable of achieving this requirement the Licence holder or a nominated person must ensure that a manual facility is available to carry out this update as an alternative. d. Recordings must be kept for a minimum of 31 days. e. Recordings of incidents at the premises must be made secure for inspection by the Police and or Licensing Officers. f. Copies of recordings will be made available to officers of the responsible authorities on reasonable request. g. Unauthorised persons should not be allowed access to the system or view personal data as it could contravene the Data Protection Act or jeopardise any criminal investigation. h. Arrangements for its repair must be made without delay, if the CCTV system becomes defective.
